How do I book with you?
You can book with us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the contact form on our main website page. Once you send me an inquiry, I’ll send you all the details about our studio and information about our pricing. Once you’re ready to go, we’ll set a date for your shoot. After your contract is signed & your payments are squared away – you’re all set!
How far in advance should I book?
This depends on when you need your photos in hand – and you should let me know if you need them by a certain date prior to booking. The farther in advance you book, the more time you will have to plan.
Where will the photoshoot take place?
Our sessions take place in our studio in Monument, Colorado – which is just north of Colorado Springs and South of Denver and Castle Rock. If you’d prefer to be photographed elsewhere, just reach out and ask!
Do I have to use your hair & makeup artist? Will there be a discount if I choose not to?
Professional hair & makeup is included with your session. If you choose to do your own hair and makeup, the price does not change. I highly recommend that you take advantage of the hair & makeup we offer! Our experts know exactly how much makeup to apply for it to show up perfectly on camera. They are also able to take your requests and emulate most inspiration photos you can send us. We send out a hair & makeup questionnaire prior to your session to make sure we are prepared.
What is a client closet?
Our client closet is a collection of lingerie and accessories like stockings and garters that are available for our clients to use in their sessions. You’re welcome to look through it after hair & makeup and pick anything to try on. We recommend that you bring 2-3 of your own outfits as well just in case nothing in the client closet works.
How long is the entire experience?
Our sessions start at 9AM and typically finish by 12PM or 1PM at the latest. Hair & makeup usually takes an hour and a half, and we shoot for an hour and a half as well – just enough time to complete your 3 looks.
Do you travel to out of state clients?
I am open to travel a few times a year for the right projects. If you have a project in mind – just shoot me an email and ask!
What is the turn around time for your photos and physical products?
Your digital photos will be delivered to you the day after your session, and physical products will be ready in 4-6 weeks.
How many images will I receive?
All of my collections include ALL the finished images from our session. Typically this is between 75-125 photos. You will receive them in a private online gallery where you can download them at your convenience.
Can I bring a friend to my photoshoot?
The studio is a female-only space. You’re welcome to bring a friend or sister for support but I don’t recommend it. It can be uncomfortable posing in front of them and they usually end up sitting in the lobby or makeup room until we’re done. You want this day to be all about YOU! The less distractions, the better. If you do plan on bringing someone – please tell me ahead of time.
Do you offer couples boudoir?
I do not offer couples boudoir or photograph men’s boudoir at this time.
Will my photos be shared online?
Only with your written permission. Although my boudoir business thrives on word of mouth, we are also known for complete discretion. Some women allow all of their photos to be shared, some would prefer to remain anonymous (like only allowing us to share photos that don’t show their face), and others would like complete privacy (no images shared). You can rest easy knowing that when you hire us, what YOU say goes and we are happy to respect that.
How much can I expect to spend?
All of our packages are all inclusive. The price you pick is the price you get – period. No hidden fees or anything else. If you see a product in the studio that isn’t included in your package and you’d like to add it on – no problem! We can easily add that on when you’re there, and you’ll know all of our pricing up front when you book.
I chose a package with only digital files. How do I add on an album or a print that I saw in the studio?
The easiest way to add-on to your collection is to let Jaye know in person, or email ahead of time to let us know that upgrading is something that you’d like to talk about. That way we can pick out all the finishes and materials for your album or print while you’re already at the studio, instead of having you come back to pick them later. Please keep in mind that we do not store your photos for more than 30 days after your shoot – so if you want to add on to your collection – LET US KNOW within 2 weeks after your shoot.
I’m not comfortable with being photographed nude – can I still do boudoir?
Of course. Our sessions are completely tailored to you and can be as modest or revealing as you desire. If you’re enjoying your shoot and want to give it a try in the moment – just let us know.
What should I wear?
You’ll receive our client wardrobe guide and information about our client closet prior to your session with all of our favorite recommendations.
How long do you keep my digital files after my shoot?
We only store the digital files for 30 days following your shoot. Any add-ons you wish to purchase must be done within 2 weeks of your shoot for this reason. We only store your photos for this long for your privacy and security.
Do you photoshop your clients?
Our full service photo editing includes custom retouching. We will go through your final images one last time before you go to make sure we’re on the same page Photoshop-wise. I keep my clients looking real, but without any temporary skin issues such as bruises, scratches, and indentations. If you want anything further, I’m happy to provide that service at no extra cost to you.
Do you do weekend sessions?
I typically only offer sessions on weekdays. If you need a session on a weekend, please reach out and ask. I have slim availability on the weekends but can usually accommodate one Saturday session per month. Please note that weekend sessions are an additional $200 add-on to any collection.
I’m not a model and am feeling nervous about booking – any advice?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous about booking! Most of our clients are first timers and are not models. A lot of women book with us FOR this reason – they’re looking to get their confidence back! Also, your mind can rest easy in that you’ll have our full styling and direction for the whole shoot. We’ll set you up in a pose, tell you where to look, and take care of everything. We got you!
Do you take walk-ins?
We are only take clients by appointment since we have to coordinate your hair & makeup application. Our calendar also fills up quickly and it’s often difficult to accommodate last minute requests.
Will I have to pay for parking?
We have an abundance of parking in our parking lot and only take one client at a time – so there is always plenty of space.
